Description

Roland Alexander "Pleasure Bent" LP (New Jazz/Status,  1961)

 

Sleeve: VG+ (neatly taped 1” split at top opening and .5” split at bottom opening; also small piece of tape covering punchout hole)

Record: VG+ (nice heavy pressing w/ RVG stamp in runout groove)


Coltrane-influenced debut by this unique tenor saxophonist, featuring an early appearance  by Marcus Belgrave.  Note: New Jazz purple label vinyl [RVG stamp in runout] in sleeve w/textured New Jazz front cover, but with Status sticker and back cover.


All records are original US pressings, unless otherwise specified.  I do not sell reissues.

 

Grading is on the following scale: M/NM/VG++/VG+/VG/VG-/G+/G/etc.

I do not employ E+/E/E- grading, and I do not describe any unsealed records as Mint
