Description

New Jazz NJ 8267. Purple and silver label, deep groove. 6 tracks with Alexander on tenor sax; Marcus Belgrave, trumpet; Ronnie Mathews, piano; Gene Taylor, bass; Clarence “Scoby” Stroman, drums. Stamped “ Promotional Copy” on back cover. Rare records. Cover: VG+. While the top edge has not split, it shows considerable wear. 1” split on spine corner. Light aging on the back cover. Small stain on bottom front cover. Record: VG+ to mint(-). Visually shows no wear. There are a few light, short surface rub marks. Some barely visible. Only occasional, light clicks and short, light crackles. There are infrequent. Most noticeable on Track 2, Side A which is a slow ballad. Even on this track, the interference is slight and at a low audible level. My grading takes into consideration the remarks about condition outlined above. Audibly checked.
