Roland Al(phonso) and the Soul Brothers - Phoenix City/The Deacons - Men Alone (Doctor Bird DB 1020)
Mega mega mega ska/skinhead tune on the original UK label. NB: note that they misspelled it 'Pheonix City' on the label!

Condition
Sleeve: GENERIC: It is in a Decca sleeve - who knows why? Did Doctor Bird have sleeves?.

Record: EXCELLENT: No kidding. I am not talking about a 'soundman's excellent' or anything; this is in genuine, barely played condition, which - as you will know - is pretty much unheard of for ska/reggae records of this kind of vintage. Gave it a bit of a clean to get a bit of grot off it and was startled by how good it looks. Incidentally, I grade reggae records with the same rigour as I grade anything else and i HATE it when other people don't. How many VG reggae records have you bought on eBay that look like the No141 bus just ran over them? It stinks.

TRUST MY GRADINGS; I worked in a top London collectors shop for years, and my VG is most people's MINT on eBay.

I recycle packaging when possible; it's cheap and also the right thing to do, people.
