Up for auction is a rare original deep groove blue label promo mono pressing of the Roland Kirk Quartet 'Meets The Benny Golson Orchestra' LP on Mercury Records MG-20844. The musicians include Harold Mabern, Abdullah Rafik, Sonny Brown, Richard Davis, Albert Heath, Richard Williams, etc.
Record info:
Near mint condition with minor surface noise. It plays great!
Cover info:
Near mint condition with solid seams and looks like it just came off the press. The back cover has a 'Promo' stamp on it. It comes with the original Mercury Records inner sleeve.
Label / Pressing info:
Original blue label promo deep groove mono press.
Buy with confidence. I grade conservatively. I’ve been selling vinyl since 1976. All records are cleaned with a VPI professional record cleaner and are shipped with records outside the covers to avoid seam damage.
Shipping for US customers is $4 for media mail or $10 for Priority mail. For high value items I would recommend adding insurance.
International shipping will be $18. I reserve the right to request registered or courier mail for high value items and to some countries (Italy, Brazil, Russia) due to the unreliability of their postal services.
