Description: 12" vinyl release LP by The Rolling Stones - The Rolling Stones. Red Decca unboxed label. Early UK pressing - Matrices XARL6271- 2A/ XARL6272- 4A . In original correct "Handling" poly lined inner. McNeil Press flipback front laminated sleeve. Record label and cat number : Decca LK.4605 Country of release: U.K Year of Release: 1964 Vinyl/Cover condition: VG/G+. Vinyl is very clean. Few surface lines/marks. IVE PLAYED THIS IN ITS ENTIRETY TONIGHT AND THE SOUND IS NEAR EXCELLENT. It is such a loud cut any background noise is insignificant. Approximately 6 clicks in the intro to Mona are all thats worthy of a mention. No jumps or skips. Powerful and raw sound throughout. Iconic cover has light edge wear + corner wear and moderate to heavy creasing. Fully ledgible spine but has been affected by creasing. Some age related discolouration to rear sleeve. Nice clean labels with heavy spindle lines. Obviously no writing,tape, splits or rips!! . Original poly lined inner is in Near Ex condition!. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading System as follows:- MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN GOOD MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. ALL OVERSEAS ORDERS (AND SOME UK ) HAVE CORNERS REINFORCED.
