Released back in 1967, this album was re-pressed many times in different formats for both the record and the cover....NOW here is an all singing, all dancing original 1967 press.
Issued on the 8th of December...HAPPY CHRISTMAS, with Satanic Majesties!

NOW THIS IS WONDERFULLY  EARLY WITH THESE FIRST PRESSING MOTHERS & STAMPERS.

THE VINYL:
VG(+).
QUALITY 147g slab of vinyl.
After giving her a gentle vacuum clean, I popped her onto my deck and turned her up-I wasn't dissapointed! Plays through with clarity.
 ONLY light  marks to the vinyl, mainly just from removal and replacement of the record from its iconic sleeve, with a few light needle marks to side 2, which provide just VERY occasional and very soft light pops and a bit of occasional background crackle in the softer sections-but they certainly didn't ruin my enjoyment of a classic album....TURN HER UP-I did!
As flat as the day he was born.
Glorious sheen and weight to the vinyl, with great audio reproduction.


THE LABELS:

**VERY 1st PRINTING RUN**
I can only see light spindle marks-(please see the detailed photo's-they are more pronounced in the photos because of the angle to the camera-less pronounced to the eye). The label is the design No.9/Version 1, with the UNBOXED DECCA & WITHOUT the (Regd) mark next to it on the right...Also, and more tellingly so is the top text of "ORIGINAL RECORDING..." which was later replaced by the more standard and well known "Made in England By.." text.
No 33 1/3 Speed text either.
This is THE earliest version you could hope to find!
Have a look at all the others for sale out there-I'll bet this is the ONLY one without the (Regd) text next to DECCA & with the "ORIGINAL RECORDING..." text above the DECCA logo and no speed indicator either!!!
Glorious Green.

THE SLEEVE:

Original "Version 1" 1967 sleeve, with the "STEREO TXS 103" printed to the bottom right on the back of the glorious gatefold.
Lovely condition...Strong, clean and clear spine, with gloriously bright colours throughout.
The 3D image to the front is wonderfully clean and bright-with Jagger's hat going to his left-the correct way and not the later repro's.
Vibrant colours, with the laminate having just one light line of spidering near the top right corner on the back...Really is SUPERB and would frame incredibly well.
The top of the back panel gatefold has some rubbing-not quite all the way through and not really a problem-I am being incredibly critical....Please see my feedback for gradings.
The inside is as bright and colourful as the day she was born.

It is a correct period Stereo DECCA inner with the two windows, poly-lining and blue Stereo border.
