Up for auction is a phenomenal, instant-collection pairing of two foundational albums by The Rolling Stones.
Both are highly coveted 1st UK Pressings featuring their rarest early label and matrix configurations. Whether you are looking to upgrade your personal archives or invest in rock history, these two LPs are essential.

Overall Condition: VG (Very Good) Why This Copy is Special: This is the famous, ultra-rare 1964 transition variant. When Decca quickly corrected the short demo version of "Tell Me" on Side 2 by mastering the -3A lacquer, they continued using the leftover first-print Side 1 labels. As a result, this copy features the highly collectible "I Need You Baby" label typo (Track A4, later changed to "Mona") and the "Hurran, Calvert" misprint on Track A3. Condition Breakdown: Vinyl (VG): Shows typical surface wear, light hairlines, and superficial scuffs consistent with its age. It plays with a classic vintage mono punch, accompanied by minor background crackle/surface noise in quiet passages, but absolutely no skips or jumps. A highly enjoyable, honest playback copy. Sleeve (VG): Early front laminated jacket with rear flipback seams. Shows shelf wear, minor laminate creasing on the front, and expected age-toning on the unlaminated rear card. No major splits or graffiti.

Overall Condition: EXCELLENT (EX)
A well preserved 1st UK Pressing of the 1973 masterpiece featuring the hit "Angie". This copy is completely intact, featuring both original inserts in stunning condition—a rarity, as these inserts are almost always lost or damaged over the last several decades. Condition Breakdown: Vinyl (EX): high-gloss wax with minor signs of use. Maybe one or two faint wispy hairline sleeve-removal marks under direct bright light. It plays beautifully with clean, crisp, dynamic audio production. Sleeve (EX): The original unlaminated gatefold cover is crisp and solid. Strong, completely uncrushed spine with perfectly legible text. Minimal edge or corner rub. Inserts (EX): Both the original credits inner sleeve and the famous Goat Head Soup picture insert are included and immaculate. No splits, no folds, no tears.
