Description

Debut album from the Rolling Stones consisting largely of blues covers that started the ball rolling for them, though Tell Me was written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richard, and there is input from Richard, Jones and Phil Spector on other tracks (Phelge). A seldom mentioned fact is that Gene Pitney plays piano on Little by Little. Tracks: ROUTE 66 - I JUST WANT TO MAKE LOVE TO YOU - HONEST I DO - I NEED YOU BABY - NOW I'VE GOT A WITNESS - LITTLE BY LITTLE - I'M A KING BEE - CAROL - TELL ME* - CAN I GET A WITNESS - YOU CAN MAKE IT IF YOU TRY - WALKING THE DOG. Condition: Vinyl is clean with very light marks to the playing surface - it plays through without fault and very little, if any, interference. Spindle trace marks are moderate.   Cover is intact, free of splits and tears though there is a single nick to the front apeture at the centre. The laminate is undamaged, but there is creasing and light ring wear. The reverse of the jacket is slightly scruffy with some light foxing and general handling/ storage wear, with a name in red biro top left. The flaps are all intact, and overall, for its age, it is pretty well preserved. I have placed the LP in a different inner bag as the original is just about done, though I will include the orignal in the lot.
