The Rolling Stones - Aftermath
(Decca LK 4733 UK LP 1965)
This is a UK original Mono LP pressing. This is the very rare "purple shadow" sleeve variation. Only very few UK pressings had this specific design. The "Aftermath" text on the front has a purple shadowed outline.
It has a front laminated sleeve (Robert Stace). It comes with its original polythene-lined company inner sleeve which is in VG++ condition.
The record has "unboxed" Decca labels which are grooved also.
The matrix numbers, followed by mother stampers, are:
Side 1: XARL-7209-2B (?? ?)
Side 2: XARL-7210-1A (CU 1)
Sleeve: There is some ringwear & laminate creasing. There is some fading/ staining on the rear. Good++ condition.
Vinyl: Unfortunately there is a small mark at the very start of Side 1, right on the intro. It causes a jump & about 4 mild clicks. There are a few other light clicks midway through the 1st track also. There are also about 3 light clicks on "Under My Thumb". Otherwise it plays Near EX to EX. There are some light sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. Visually the record looks in VG++ condition, but because of the jump. Fair+ condition. The labels are nice & clean & show mild to more moderate spindle wear.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
Postage for 1 LP in the UK is £4.50. You can add one extra LP for free (up to the weight of 1kg).
Postage for 1 LP in Europe is £6.50 to £7.85 (depending on weight). Add £1.25 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Postage for 1 LP for the rest of the world is £8.50 to £11.50 (depending on weight). Add £2 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £30. Overseas buyers will add £5.50 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
