Please note that i do tend to use in and around the " Very Good / Near excellent Condition " grade for a lot of my records , although none are heavily scratched etc and most will just have some general light surface marks only . I never use a " Mint " or " Near Mint " grade . Everyone obviously has their own opinions as to what is very good and excellent , but in my case , i tend to think that most , if not all records do have marks to some degree ( lots even from new ! ) purely because they are vinyl and mark easy and have been used over a considerable amount of time in most cases . This is also why i do often go into more detail than most with my descriptions , as the term " Very Good " can be a bit vague . I do use the " Excellent Condition " grade , but in my case , i would class this as not played very much , excellent shine and just a handful of the very lightest whispy type hairlines only , most only being visible under a light , so you know that when i use excellent , i really do mean excellent and i do pride myself on this fact , i will say i can go a little OTT with noise and general condition and can often make a record sound bad when it really isn't , i do just try my best to say how it is , please don't forget though , that all records will obviously vary in sound quality etc on other set ups depending on the quality being used etc , but please do check out all of my feedback and you will see you can bid with confidence , thank you .

Please note, all records are packed in proper pro card mailers with a minimum of 3 stiffeners for LP’s and 2 for 7" singles ( more if i think they are needed ) . CD’s , Cassettes and DVD’s are sent in strong bubble wrap envelopes. These are also taped with brown parcel tape along all edges and seams for added protection.

The Rolling Stones Aftermath LP Scarcer Flat Label Mono Later 1969 4A / 4B Very Nice ! . On UK Decca Unboxed red / silver print paper labels LK 4786 , this one is the slightly scarcer later 1969 mono issue with the flat ungrooved labels and the side 1 and side 2 texts just to the right hand side of the spindle holes . Side 1 is to the right of the centre-hole (and Side 2 too).

COVER: Factory single card cover generally in a very clean and very nice condition , certainly is one of the better ones out there ! and i haven't seen one like this for a good while now . A very very very few ( three or four )  extremely light and small general age related / surface / handling marks in places , mainly a small mark under the nose of the guy near the top right corner on the front , a very light line mark near the centre of the spine edge , a couple of very very small light dent spots near the bottom right corner on the bottom edge and a very light small mark ( part of the ring wear mark on the centre section near the top edge on the rear , there are just a couple of usual but small laminate creases lines on the front and just the odd very very light hairline , i must say that some of these are only really seen more at certain angles to the light . There is some laminate lifting present on the spine edge in two places just below the top corner , just above the bottom corner and a very small and light bit just to the right of the top left corner on the top edge . The usual but overall very light only ring wear marks are present with just a light bit of rubbing . Some normal but generally light useage / age related wear on the side opening edges , mainly just some light denting , just some usual but very light bits of rubbing etc on the corners , mainly just on the tips , the top and bottom edges are in really great shape and some ( three or four ) usual but small crease crack lines in places round the edges , the pinch ended spine is very good and fully legible , there is just a light bit of denting in places and two or three extremely light and tiny usual crease crack lines , the rear is still nice and clean with an extremely light and pale bit of age related fading / foxing along the top edge , but this really is extremely light indeed and just a very thin strip , anything else is included in the previous description , the cover is writing free . This cover , i must say is a very very nice example overall ! .

INNER SLEEVE: Red / white printed " Mono " bordered poly lined inner sleeve in a strong very good condition . Some age related foxing / yellowing is present and the usual ring wear marks and some small often seen glue residue spot marks from the poly lining along the top edge , mainly on the one side , some very light denting and very light rippling in places and the often seen more prominent creases near the corners caused by the outer edge of the record , the sleeve is writing free and there are no seam splits , unfortunately i can't confirm if this is the original inner sleeve . I will also be putting the record into a new plain white paper inner sleeve .

LABELS: Unboxed Decca red / silver print paper labels generally in excellent condition , still very nice and clean , there is no obvious rubbing on the silver coloured text , there is an extremely tiny , not too far from pinhead sized dark spot mark at approx four o'clock on S1 label , this does look darker than it actually is in the photo , actually i missed it when doing the photos and listing and have only just noticed this on double checking my photos in my listings , i can now say that you can only really see this properly at certain angles and even then it's a lot fainter than it looks in the photos and really hardly noticeable , i just wanted to point this out , there are just a very very very few ( three or four ) usual but very light and small spindle marks , both labels are writing free.

** Please note that the greyish coloured marks and bright shiny patches that are sometimes seen on some of the close ups of the record playing surfaces in the photos are purely a light reflection / glare and are not marks on the record , thank you ** .

RECORD: The overall visual grade of the playing surface under normal average household light conditions is a very very very strong between very good and near excellent condition ( though certainly far far better than very good ! ) , though i think most would easily say airing closer to the near excellent side overall with just some the odd very light non feelable blemish , some ( though there aren't that many ) actually appear to be within the vinyl itself , there are just a very few usual extremely light and very fine mainly just whispy type hairlines and sleeve removals , there are no nasty gouges / nasty scratches whatsoever , i will also say that a lot of these very few finer hairlines and actually most of the few very light blemishes are really only more visible when held at certain angles to or under a light . Please note that there maybe the odd tiny dust particle or tiny bit of fluff etc seen on the record in places in the photos off my wiping cloth due to static etc , i can't see them on the record at the time but they sometimes do show up when I take the close up photos , this is also because i do take the photos before i vacuum clean the record , thank you for your understanding . AUDIO A SIDE: Silent run in has some usual but generally light noise . It plays excellent overall , beautifully crisp and clear throughout on the music playback with really next to nothing in the way of obvious noise that was worthy of mention , i just heard a couple of very very light tick like noises just before half way on T1 , but i do actually think these were on the actual music in the background , but obviously i can't be 100% sure , i think i'm being a bit picky here , but i did hear an occasional bit of very faint " vinyl static noise " on the very quieter parts on T3 , but this really was very very light only and really to be expected on a vintage record , as i say i think i'm being picky with this , there was one isolated very very light pop / tick i think just after half way on T6 , but again this was light only , there was no nasty crackle and no nasty ticks , even the silent track changeover lines were quiet overall , there may just have been the odd faint isolated pop that i may have missed . Silent run off has some usual but generally very light noise . This side on the music really does play and sound fantastic overall and the audio tones are still awesome .

AUDIO B SIDE: Silent run in has some usual but generally very light noise . It also plays excellent , beautifully crisp and clear throughout on the music playback with really again next to nothing in the way of obvious noise that was worthy of mention , i just heard a very brief bit of faint vinyl static noise on the quieter intro on T1 , really very brief and very very light indeed , being a bit picky again here i think , there was the faintest and brief bit mainly on the start of T5 , but this really was very faint and as i say i really think i'm being picky with this , i think there was one isolated very very light pop and a couple of very faint ones in places also on T5 , again even the silent track changeover lines were quiet overall , there was no nasty crackle and no nasty loud ticks , there may just have been the odd faint isolated pop that i may have missed . Silent run off has some usual but generally very light noise . This side on the music really does play and sound fantastic overall and the audio tones are still awesome .

** This one really must be up there with the better sounding examples out there today !! and with a really nice clean cover to , a very nice example !! ** .

There were no jumps etc when tested on my deck and it still retains a great shine . Any noises tend to be in short bursts only , are over quickly , are not constant and do not spoil any enjoyment . If any noises are more frequent or louder etc , they will be described separately in the above detailed descriptions thank you .

All in all a lovely example of this now very collectable item together with super overall sound , do turn this one up and enjoy ! . Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times , but displays no major deterioration in sound quality , despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch , some forms of noise will more than likely be heard in places especially on the quieter parts and the odd tick or pop may also be heard in places especially on the quieter parts , but none of this will overpower any of the music in any way , light edge warps etc and some light " dishing " are acceptable but will not affect the play or sound quality at all , any warps that are more prominent will be described in more detail . Very Good / Near Excellent: The record has obviously been played but shows no overly excessive play wear . There will be some light only surface marks though most will be just fine hairlines , there will be no major deterioration in sound quality at all though some amount of light noise / occasional light pop may be present in places especially on some of the quieter parts , but none of this will be loud or constant or overpower any of the music , the record will play through perfectly , light edge warps etc and some light " dishing " are acceptable but will not affect the play or sound quality at all , any warps that are more prominent will be described in more detail .
