Description

 An original 1st stereo press on UK Decca. Matrix 4/2. Comes housed in a genuine stereo James Upton pinched spine cover. This 1st press is very difficult to find in stereo. Note the Decca deep groove on the labels. The Decca inner is present too. So, we're 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) Lovely condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light markings per side - nothing heavy or problematic. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of deviations per side. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Plays clean and for genuine '66 impressively so. You might detect a few brief cracles in one isolated spot per side. A couple of ticks in one isolated spot per side. But overall clean stereo delivery. Highly recommended.
Cover (Ex-) A real pain to find in decent condition - but this example is unusually clean. The front is just superb with slight hint of ageing at extremities. The rear is very tidy -  rarely do you see originals having avoided so much of the ageing process. Minimal edge wear. Spine is 95% intact. The cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg) Some ageing. No split.
