CONDITION
Disc
Labels: NEAR MINT
An immaculate pair with no spindle marks to either center hole. Side 2 has a trace of wear to the hole edges but no other traces of wear.
Visual: VERY GOOD +
Extremely clean, bright & glossy playing surfaces which when viewed in strong daylight show just a single light surface line on side 1, but no scratches or any other significant visual blemishes. Careful examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals a sparkling rainbow shine together with a few light stylus hairline scratches & a few wispy marks consistent with careful play. Both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable with no signs of dishing or warping.
Play: EXCELLENT
This great sounding copy has been well looked after carefully played on good equipment all its life, My careful play check at volume was areal pleasure and uncovered little more than a few light clicks at the end of 'High & Dry' going into the introduction to 'Out Of Time' but found no other audible distractions elsewhere or any other major faults.
Cover
VERY GOOD +
A strong and vibrant example with minor handling & storagewear but no major faults. The high-gloss front panel has the inevitable light disc impression from storage & five small 'thumbnails' but no further significant wear. There are tiny bruises to the corners but both opening edges are clean, straight and undamaged. The rear panel has some small blemishes but is otherwise clean & white and free from any writing or missing paper. Both seams are smooth & unstressed and the spine, despite a few light bends is undamaged.
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT
A fine example with just slight age-toning but no splits, writing or tears.
