Description
The Rolling Stones- 'BIG HITS (HIGH TIDE AND GREEN GRASS)' UK stereo original pressing ***STUNNING CONDITION!!!***
***Starting on auction here is a VERY RARE ROLLING STONES record, an original STEREO pressing of their album from 1966, BIG HITS (HIGH TIDE AN GREEN GRASS)!! This original stereo mix is certainly by far the rarer mix in terms of the original release, in 1966 most people where still using mono turntables, so therefore the demand for mono discs far outweighed that of the stereo ones, making stereo copies MUCH harder to find!!!***
***Perhaps the best thing about this copy is the audio as it is stunningly clear and very powerful, showing that it has not been overplayed at all, indeed the labels exhibit VERY little spindle markings, perhaps an odd light one to each label!!!!! There are NO annoying names or stickers or hole wear, and the vinyl playing surface is BRILLIANTLY clean, a grading of EXCELLENT would apply to the visual!!! The play too is superb, with absolutley NO distortion and NO jumping, even the final two tracks play outstandingly without any groovewear, The vinyl is still tremendously powerful and VERY clear, with absolutley no distortion, showing how little it has been played, the AUDIO for this LP would easily grade as EXCELLENT!!! Superbly clear stereo sound throught the entire disc!!!!***
***The main sleeve is its correct Clairefoil Decca sleeve grading as being in EXCELLENT condition!! Certainly a sleeve notorius for turning up in trashed condition, the book is firmly in place and is not torn, the outside of the sleeve to is superb, perhaps a tiny bit of corner wear, but otherwise is BRILLIANT!!!***

Near Mint (NM) The record looks brand new with no scuffing or any deterioration in sound quality and only the smallest hint that its ever been played. The cover and any additional extras are clean, crisp and with no wear whatsoever.
Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair (F) The record is still just about playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
