Description

This is a very acceptable UK original first mono pressing copy of the 'Beggars Banquet' LP by The Rolling Stones from 1968.

Decca LK 4955 Mono

XARL-8476-4A / XARL-8477-3A matrix numbers

Original red Decca labels with all of the original label text / credits / publishing information etc.Name 'Barry Smith' is written on side one label in biro but this doesnt impinge on any of the label info or tracklisting.

Original laminated gatefold sleeve made by G & L Ltd International.

This original gatefold sleeve is in pretty good condition for a 1968 lp with nothing major to report except some edge and corner wear. Usually, these original sleeves are really worn and / or damaged but this is not .The record itself is also in really good condition with just a few light wispy surface marks. The only thing of note that slightly mars the otherwise fantastic no noise playback on the lp is a mark on side 2 between the end outro of tracks 1-Street fighting Man and the beginning of track 2-Prodigal Son.There are a few light ticks but nothing to spoil the listeners enjoyment as otherwise the playback is superb.I play-tested this lp on my Dual CS505-3 this morning and enjoyed it very much!.Whoever wins this classic lp i'm sure they'll be delighted with their purchase. As always i will answer any questions regarding this item, postage worldwide etc.Good luck and happy bidding
