Description
I've been collecting music most of my life. I'm now selling a few double copies from my collection.
Here is a original, very first UK Decca MONO pressing of Rolling Stones, Beggars Banquet, in a hard to find EXCELLENT CONDITION, issued 1968.
Special details in the very first edition: The font on the label is more narrow than usual, the matrix number appears upside down above cat. number. The GEMA caption has no fullstops between the letters. These details do not appear on later issues. Other special details on very first issue, " We are deeply indebted to Nicky Hopkins and to many friends" on the back side of the cover.
I do my best to give you as an honest description as possible with a rather conservative grading.
Cover: Excellent/ Excellent - The laminated gatefold cover is in excellent condition, which is quite unusual for a record that is 50 year old. Some corner wear and some marks on the back of the cover (see picture), overall in excellent condition.
Vinyl sound: Excellent/ Excellent+ The vinyl is in absolute excellent/ excellent+ condition, plays superb though out with only some minor crackles on a few places.
Vinyl visual: Excellent+ The vinyl is in excellent+ shape with a great shine to it and only minimal of hairlines. Barcodes, side 1: XARL-8476, 4A, side 2: XARL-8477, 3A
Innersleve: Excellent Innersleve in excellent condition, no tears only some wearing due to age.
