Description
I play all my records from beginning to end prior to auction on my Garrard 401 record player using a Shure V15 cartridge.
Here I have a copy of the Rolling Stones 1968 release 'Beggars Banquet'.
The record is an early issue UK mono pressing on the red unboxed Decca labels.
Cat no LK 4955 The matrix XARL 8476-4A / XARL 8477 3A
Grading :
The record grades as EX. The vinyl gleams under light there are very few spindle marks suggesting few plays. There are visible marks on side 2 but I'm happy to report that they have no effect on the music. The sound is almost perfect with next to no surface noise and there is just a small handful of isolated pops either side. The record labels lovely and clean too.
The laminated gatefold cover is in EX condition, still glossy with just minor wear around the extremities. The spine is fully legible and the cover lies flat.
