Complete with poly lined, inner sleeve with patented number in blue text. Very early example of this Stones pop and beat psyche ! A very decent audio and a bargain indeed, as auction will start low, for all to have a go at winning this superb vintage Stones release.!

Labels
Open, red Decca, label format , confirming a first UK pressing of this awesome release. Plenty of spindle lines visible ,so a well played history. Excellent condition . Vinyl sits tight around central hole . Silver text unfaded and illustrate excellent examples of this very scarce pressing. No mottling. No peeling. No graffiti . No rips, nor tears. Excellent examples.
Gatefold sleeve
Unusual stereo, opening sleeve, printed Garrod & Lofthouse, first issue against this very early mono release and is not the mono gatefold, as sometimes when the record company ran out ,the stereo cover would be used, but this did not happen very often. Rare to locate ! Minor laminate lifting on spinal column and at lower front face, clearly visible on photo . The cover boasts a super gloss and is smooth to the touch, which makes this a very collectable gatefold sleeve and looks rather appealing despite the minor flaws mentioned. Hardly any creasing on the cover..No rips, nor tears . Inner centrefold shows no visible creasing .No major damage, nor colour loss and a VERY GOOD/+ example of a genuine masterpiece ,(strict grading applies as per RRPG catalogue).
Vinyl
Thick heavy weight first pressing . Beautiful, mirror like sheen to the surfaces . Moderate playing history.Has a cosmetic flaw where the vinyl has some foxing in places on 2-3 of the tracks and several small/light scratching visible on both surfaces and one visibly deeper scratch, which appears to not affect the audio very much at all. The vinyl however does have a tremendous gloss. Very good visual and the heavy weight pressing has a tremendous feel to this vintage classic .
Audio
Delighted with the audio. Not much to fault. Plays exceptionally well, with NO skips, no jumps and no sticks at all. Mostly very good/+ ,and just the odd faint tick produced by 2-3 light scratches on each side of the vinyl. Please see below for more details:
Awesome tones . There is hardly any distortion whatsoever which is very rare to find on these early mono, first pressings ! The monotone perspective is phenomenal on this recording, conveying the tones with a razor sharp edge and a concise definition. There is slight surface at the very start of each of the first tracks for a few revolutions and light surface between tracks, otherwise remarkable audio channels, conveying a significant depth of sound .
Any audio discrepancies which were detected, remained in the distance, and there was little effect to the music presentation. No serious problems at all !
Overall, a very good/+ example of this monumental Stones classic. Winner of this auction will be delighted !
