You are bidding on a sealed vinyl LP of the Rolling Stones' 1968 classic album, "Beggars Banquet." The Stones do not have just "one masterpiece," but I don't think I have ever seen a list of their best that did not include this album. It contains standards such as "Sympathy For The Devil," "Street Fighting Man," and 'Stray Cat Blues." These, while famous, may not be the best songs on the album. "Jigsaw Puzzle," "Salt Of The Earth," "No Expectations," and "Dear Doctor" would be the best songs in most other group's body of work. If you love and appreciate British blues rock at it's best, this album is pretty near perfect from beginning to end.
The album is a German reissue from 1982, according to Discogs (Decca 6.22157 BL"). There is a notation in German in the bottom right corner or the rear cover, that refers to 1970, but I am going to go with Discogs and their 1982 designation.
The album is sealed, brand new, with the original retail price sticker on it, The shrink wrap is sealed, but not pulled tight like you normally see on a US sealed album. Thee seem to be wrinkles in the shrink wrap cellophane, but NOT on the album cover, which is pristine. This is shown on the last photo included in this listing/
