Description

Rolling Stones :  "Between The Buttons"  LP      (MONO)

London LL 3499

Original US pressing, released in February 1967, with bright red labels on which the London logo appears "boxed" in silver.

This is the prized and sonically superior MONO pressing, not the dreadful sounding "rechanneled stereo" version.  The rhythm section is particularly impressive on this mono pressing, with deep solid bass and crisp sharp drum reproduction.

All tracks on this classic Stones release are Jagger-Richards originals.  Features hits songs "Let's Spend The Night Together" and "Ruby Tuesday" as well as gems "Connection", "She Smiled Sweetly", "Who's Been Sleeping Here" and "Complicated".

Includes drawings by drummer Charlie Watts on back cover.

Side 1 matrix #'s read:  LL 3499 A  (hand etched in the dead wax).

Side 2 matrix #'s read:  LL-3499 B  (hand etched in the dead wax).

Vinyl:  EX

Plays just shy of near mint throughout, with only faint surface noise audible between tracks and in some quiet passages.  A few very light superficial surface marks are present but have no discernible impact on the sound quality.  Exceptionally high gloss on this record, now some 50 years old !!!

Labels are bright and clean.  Light spindle marks seen under bright light.

                                                             (SEE PHOTOS)

Jacket:  VG+

Front jacket color photo and script are rich and bright.  Modest ring wear seen on front cover.

Back jacket B&W images (Charlie Watts drawings) and text are clear.  Modest ring and rub wear present.

Some rub wear on seams and spine ... but no splits.  Spine print is clearly legible.

No stamps, writing or bar code.

This is a superb copy of The Rolling Stones "Between The Buttons" LP, a 1967 original presented in MONO, as it was recorded and meant to be heard.  A wonderful piece of rock history and a great listen, now 50 years old !!!  Hoping this one goes to a good home.

Note:  I've qualified for the "Top Rated Plus" seal from eBay, awarded to sellers who consistently deliver outstanding customer service.

Music is my passion.  I’ve been a collector for more than 50 years and have thousands of records in my personal collection, focused largely on 50’s and 60’s rock ‘n’ roll.  Recently retired, I look to downsize and sell select portions of my collection in hopes of financing future purchases of a few special pieces.

All records I offer are from my personal collection, each cleaned using my Nitty Gritty Record Cleaning Machine.

All are play graded (not just visually graded), employing Goldmine Price Guide standards.

As I take great care to accurately describe my items, I do not accept returns unless my item description is incorrect.

All records are packaged with the wax outside the jacket (to avoid seam split in transit), enclosed in a plastic sleeve and shipped in robust record mailer boxes via USPS Media Mail, tracking included.
