Rolling Stones Black and Blue Promotional Display
Was sent to record stores in 1976 to promote new album.
Stands approximately 32" wide by 35" high
Two pieces--girl and fold out album cover.
Made of sturdy cardboard. "Album" shows minor edge wear; girl shows damage on right leg in two places (got folded where it shouldn't have--see photo) and at waist there is some wear in two places. Still stands straight however when the two pieces are fit together. Overall a very cool and very rare item for the collector. If you would like us to e-mail more photos to you, please let us know.

We use the industry standard grading system, first developed by Goldmine Records. Grading is based upon visual inspection under bright light. The record's condition is the first to appear in a listing, and the cover's condition is second. For instance, a listing graded NM/VG means the record itself is Near Mint and the cover is Very Good.
- Mint (M) Absolutely perfect. Never been played and may still be sealed.
- Near Mint (NM or M-) A nearly perfect record. No obvious signs of wear and has the appearance of having just been opened. No scratches or marks on album. If a 45 RPM, sleeve should have only minor wear such as almost invisible ring wear or appearance of having been slightly handled. LP cover has no creases, folds, seam splits, cut-out holes, or other noticeable similar defects. Same for any inserts such as posters or lyric sleeves.
- Very Good Plus (VG+) Some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a careful owner. Surface of album may show some signs of wear and have slight scuffs or very light scratches. Slight warps are ok. The label may have some very slight ring wear or fading, and the center hole will not be misshapen. Picture sleeves and LP inner sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly turned up corners, or a slight seam split. An LP cover may have slight signs of wear also and may be marred by a cut-out hole or corner.
- Very Good (VG) Groove wear will become noticeable, as with light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound. Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue). The same will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers, and covers will show more wear than VG+. However, it will not have all of these problems at the same time, only two or three of them.
- Good (G), Good Plus (G+) Scratches and visible groove wear (on a styrene record, the groove will be starting to turn white), but should still play without skipping. A cover or sleeve will have seam splits, especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear, or other defects are more pronounced.
