1972 UK 100% COMPLETE 1st PRESSING DOUBLE LP

This superb disc forms part of a unbeatable collection of top condition Rolling Stones UK 1st pressings which I have the pleasure to list this week. Please take a look at my shop to view the entire collection.

This NEAR MINT copy is a 1972 UK 1st pressing of their influential double album on the yellow Rolling Stones labels: COC 69100

Housed in an unlaminated heavy card stick gatefold cover printed by 'Shorewood Packaging Ltd.'

The package is 100% complete with:

• A fully intact strip of 12 postcards
  
• Both green & red printed thick card inners
  
• White die-cut 'Patent No./Made in England' inner-sleeves.

'ROLLING STONES RECORDS' is also hand-etched into each run-out.

An immaculate vibrant set which apart from 3/4 spindle trails on label 2, are all 'as new'.

Visual: Disc 1: NEAR MINT Disc 2: MINT

All playing surface are perfectly clean & glossy and are apart from three tiny 4mm light marks on side 1, unmarked in strong daylight. Close examination directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals no surface marks or any other visual blemishes whatsoever. To top it all all sides lie 100% flat on the turntable with no dishing or warping and would be extremely difficult to upgrade.

This set has clearly been barely played and probably never in its entirety. The sound quality throughout is outstanding my single careful playcheck at volume found absolutely no evidence of any groove/playwear or any background noise on or between on any track. Both run-ins and all bands play without interference. You will not be disappointed.


Cover

EXCELLENT +

Such a pleasure to find a this cover in such superb shape with completely unyellowed & unworn panels. The delicate front leaf is clean & undamaged disabling just a faint bend towards the lower left corner. All of the corners themselves bear just a hint of bruising, but certainly nothing heavy. The inside of the gatefold is clean, unmarked & undamaged with no writing or missing paper. The rear panel is just as clean as the front with again, no significant or major traces of wear. There is a touch of shelf wear to the lower seam but no stresses or splits to any. The unworded spine is clean & unworn.

Inner Covers

These are both 'as new' with traces of any wear to any part.

Inner-sleeves

EXCELLENT

Clean & flat with just a few minor storage creases but no writing, splits or tears anywhere.

Postcards

MINT

All are still firmly attached together in one strip with no wear or damage to any perforation.
