I recently came into a large collection of records and as I continue to scour through them I am finding some rare and even some still sealed ones. Check out my other auctions for more rare and amazingly kept rock records.
This is the famous Rolling Stones Exile on Main Street LP, pressing COC-2-2900. This thing is in incredible condition and rare as well. A couple of reasons why this is rare include the amazing sheet of postcards that comes with this LP. The postcards are in near mint condition with incredibly bright colors and details. The postcards come in three separate groups, one group of six, one of four, and one of two. The two postcards have become detached from the string of four. I have photographed the spot of where the perforation has been detached. The inner sleeves are in mint condition, their cardboard paper is still incredibly strong and the colors have not faded one bit in the 37 years since this was pressed. Both of the vinyl records are in near mint condition, with no visible scratches or hairlines, still very glossy and black. The labels are in just as amazing conditions as the sleeves that the vinyl comes in. The label reads P 1972. "Rolling Stone Records" is also etched into the vinyl surrounding the label. The cover is in VG++ condition with very minor edge wear. The digipak type cover is still very bright and just as amazing looking. This is another rare album in amazing condition.
