Flowers is an American compilation album by The Rolling Stones, released in the summer of 1967. Three tracks had never been released. "My Girl", "Ride On, Baby" and "Sittin' on a Fence. The title refers to the album's cover, with flowerstems underneath the portrait of each band member. Bassist Bill Wyman claims that Mick Jagger and Keith Richards deliberately arranged the stem of Brian Jones's (R.I.P) flower so that it had no leaves, as a prank. Flowers reached #3 in the USA during the late summer of 1967 and went Gold.
As Europe wanted to release this version they were pressed in different countries.
But not all record companies had the possibility to press this LP and asked DECCA UK to press this version for Scandinavia and Holland. DECCA made this export version but did not release in England.
