Description
The Rolling Stones: Flowers, as released by DECCA in 1967. This is the very rare, extreme early, UK export-pressing, SKL 4888. It has the blue unboxed label, Full Frequency Stereophonic Sound. The matrix-numbers are ZAL-7752-1W / ZAL-7753-1W, so this is one the first (or THE first) pressings made. It has its original DECCA inner sleeve, which dates from 1967. So this is not a later, 1968/1969-issue, which are more common, and can be recognized by the 1969-inner sleeve. The sleeve is front laminated, and printed by Robert Stace.
The record is neat, but played. Some scuffs and lines, but only superficial. VG+
The inner sleeve, which is original: VG+, no tears, a bit folded.
The sleeve: some writing on back, but not much. The front has a tear, about three inch, and some surface has come of (but is still there, as visible in the picture). This can be restored with some glue. VG
