Rolling Stones, Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out, Orig UK Decca LP, EX/EX+ 1-W/1-W 1st Press.
Description
Original UK Decca label stereo press LP.This is the first UK released Rolling Stones live album, recorded over two days at the Madison Square Gardens, New York in November 1969 and in Baltimore for the track 'Love In Vain'. The album was then over-dubbed in January 1970, mostly the vocals and guitars, featuring Mick Taylor for the first time. The earlier USA only live album released in 1966, 'Got Live If You Want It', was later disowned by the band. The album was released in September 1970 and reached no.1.
This is the original press from late 1970 with the dark blue boxed Decca labels with TNR font, the SKL 5065 matrix numbers (later copies have SKL.5065), and the Upton Printing Group fully laminated sleeve. With the earliest 1-W 1-W matrices and 1-BH 1-BH stampers of the 1st presses.
The Upton Printing Group fully laminated sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some very light corner/edge wear, light laminate rubbing and a couple of small creases on the front cover, but there is a name on one corner. The company inner sleeve is intact and in EX condition. The spine is intact, with some lifting along the spine and fully readable.
The record is in visually EX+ condition, with only a couple of faint sleeve removal hairlines/scuffs and one or two light needle scuffs visible on each side. The labels are in EX+ condition, clean & bright with evidence of only one or two faint spindle markings on each side. The sound reproduction is EX+, still clear & precise throughout with no loud pops, hiss or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some very brief background noise during the run-in grooves. Overall, a really great, loud & clear listen. The matrix nos. are; XZAL-1076 stamper 1-BH, XZAL-1077 stamper 1-BH. This is one of the early copies of the original UK stereo issue of this classic 1970 album.
