Description

A genuine very 1st press of "It's Only Rock N'Roll". Matrix A1/B2 - very 1st cut. Please note the very earliest copies went out with the wrong track length time for 'Luxury' "4:30"..when the track is in fact 5 minutes long. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover with the bespoke inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Vg+) In lovely condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection there are a few superficial low-level marks per side - nothing troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of deviations. Plays nice and clean for the most part with some classic Stones tunes. The only tracks which were slightly off the pace were 4 & 8 & 9. There's just just a bit of low-level static exhibiting. Nothing invasive - they just don't play as clean as the rest of the LP. And then there's two clicks in the title track "It's Only Rock N'Roll" - no big deal. By and large a fantastic rendition which does these Stones '74 tracks maximum justice.
Cover (Ex) In lovely condition and has been well cared for down the years. Very clean and uncreased front and back. Edge wear is very minor and the openings are sharpish. The spine seems all intact, but with a bit of light fade [very common]. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex) Great condition. No signs of ageing. No splits.
