Description
The Rolling Stones "Love You Live" original USA promotional 45 rpm Extended Play (EP) phonograph record, Rolling Stones EP-PR-287, with promotional picture sleeve. This EP was not released commercially. This stereo promotional only EP has white labels, with no writing on either side. These are live versions of the songs, recorded in Paris, France, and in Toronto, Canada during the summer of 1977. This EP was released in September of 1977. There are photographs of The Rolling Stones on the front of the picture sleeve. The four photos, taken by Andy Warhol, are of band members biting each other. Side One contains "If You Can't Rock Me" / "Get Off My Cloud" (4:58) and "Brown Sugar" (3:19). Side Two contains "Jumping Jack Flash" (3:31) and "Hot Stuff" (4:34). All songs were written by Keith Richard and Mick Jagger. The record was produced by The Glimmer Twins. The phonograph record has never been played, and is in near mint to mint condition. The picture sleeve is in near mint condition. The phonograph record comes in a white paper sleeve. The picture sleeve comes in a clear protective sleeve. This is the nicest copy of this record and picture sleeve that you could find. The 2001 "Goldmine Price Guide to 45 rpm records 3rd Edition" (page 486, under "7-inch Extended Plays") lists a near mint copy of "If You Can't Rock Me" / "Get Off My Cloud" / "Brown Sugar" / "Jumping Jack Flash" / "Hot Stuff" promotional EP with "Love You Live" promotional picture sleeve, at $80.00 (record $30.00/picture sleeve $50.00). That is a four year old price. Shipping: USA First Class $3.85.
