Description
Hi! I'm looking to sell this original 4 LP copy of "Exile on Main St.", complete with the 12 postcard set (all still attached) and the original record sleeves inside the Unipak cover. I'll be perfectly honest - I don't know enough to confirm if this is or is not a first pressing, but from what I've seen, it's quite possible. Here is what I know about this copy:
- Label indicates ST-RS-722510 PR
- Dead Wax inscriptions ST-RS-722510-B on sides 1, 3, 4; ST-RS-722510-C on side 2
- Dead Wax "artisan" marks on all sides, as well as the initials "PR"
The outer case has some wear (40+ years and not in a "collector's environment") - also shows two stickers: one, partly removed "promotional copy - not for sale" on the front cover, and two, a sticker indicating the track listing for the discs on the back (see pictures for review). The inner sleeves are in great condition, as are the postcards. The records themselves have not seen extensive use, but they are smudged a bit in some areas. Looks quite good for its age, but I would not hazard a guess at an actual "rating", because I don't have enough perspective on what "good/very good" actually looks like.
