This is one of those Holy grails of record collecting: a very rare 1st UK pressing of the seminal Rolling Stones album, Sticky Fingers with the Andy Warhol designed sleeve and large PAN zipper which only featured on the earliest UK pressings and was withdrawn due to stacking issues.
This is not a near mint copy of this rare album by any means, but the majority of the album plays very well and the sleeve, though damaged is firm and in tact. Rare record for a collection. Not only is this a very early pressing, it is also in remarkably good condition for its age. The labels are clean and show little to no sign of use. The vinyl has kept its lustre and although there are a few surface marks there is little background noise and no skips, repeats or jumps. There is the occasional pop and some light crackle in the quieter parts on both sides. I would say that the audio is excellent overall. However, and this is important to note, there is an edge warp on this album and this makes the first track on each side unplayable. You have to start each side towards the end of the first track (Brown Sugar and Bitch) otherwise the needle jumps. I do not know if this can be fixed or not. There is also a light hiss as the warp goes round between the first and second track although this is barely discernable once the music kicks in.
The sleeve is also in reasonably good condition as can be seen in the pictures, although there has been water damage and there is a stain and wear on one side and tape on the other edge. The large PAN zipper has tarnished, although it is moving freely and can be opened and closed. You can still see Andy Warhol's signature on the pants underneath (see pic). The inner sleeve is original and in excellent condition. Unfortunately, I no longer have the original photo insert.

I value the records I sell appropriately and so can be a little higher than others, but you can buy with confidence that the record will be as described and of a quality that will grace your turntable. All records will have a plastic protective cover and will be sent in a proper record mailer.
