Let It Bleed

LK5025 original MONO release 1969

Stunning vinyl! Excellent audio! Very good album cover and NO seam splits on original red inner sleeve!! Ex-Nr Mint labels! Excellent RARE sticker. Poster superb exhibit ! Do not miss….

Open Red Decca label format in near mint condition . Only one or two spider lines visible on side 1 . Silver text projects prominently with NO peeling ,NO crusting ,NO rips ,NO tears ,NO spindle wear Side 2 record label EX+ with a light spindle trace only…Stunning record labels seldom found on this normally heavily played mono classic.

Matrices XARL 9364.P-1A with the earliest MOTHER stampers                         1   /   D  U  with J T tax code

XARL 9363.P-1A  with earliest MOTHER stampers                        1  /  D  G    with rare tax code again on run offs J T

This information confirms the earliest very first pressing of this magnificent Stones’ release. To locate the earliest Mother stampers on BOTH sides is quite phenomenal and extremely scarce.

Vinyl

Thick quality press with a stunning appearance . Highly polished, glass like surfaces are breathtaking, with the very odd light surface mark disappearing under a staggering sheen. This vinyl has had a minimal playing history and has been handled only a few times. Previous owner admitted that it was hardly played, so rare to locate like this, as most of these first pressings were heavily played, resulting in massive groove wear and surface damage. This vinyl is remarkable as it appears to have been hardly played  !?

First issue stickered sleeve. Many album covers have had their sticker removed but this one is in excellent order with no surface damage and its contours are perfect. Ex + with unfaded ,black coloration  .

Album cover issue Upton Printing Group, with peep hole on reverse to indicate mono/stereo recording . Very GOOD condition.NO edge wear visible. Hardly any feathering to opening edge . Spine is square and solid clearly showing title . Laminate on front face is so tight with no peeling visible. Moderate corner creasing towards two of the corners  .   No rips or tears. No surface damage. The laminated front face gives a deep glossy sheen and conveys a superb presentation to this fantastic album release. Taped edges have left a brown residue on reverse and there is hand writing of previous owner’s name /digits inscribed.

Inner red sleeve with printed lyrics in excellent- order . One age spot to authenticate this vintage press with NO seam splits. Shows the impression of the vinyl but no rips or tears  . Moderate creasing only visible apart from some brown ageing on one side.

POSTER

Would not be complete without this highly collectable addition. No rips or tears and in excellent condition. A little creasing along the outer edges but another beautiful addition to this first UK pressing. Now beginning to be very elusive and is highly valuable in its own right. Hardly handled  owing to its sharp folds and hardly seen the light of day. Coloration strong and unfaded .  Kept inside the album cover and in excellent condition. Most are found missing so this item is highly valued .

Audio

Excellent aural delivery without a doubt. Tones are so exquisite and at times the clarity of the channels are truly remarkable .The monotone perspective operates in sensational style, each tone delivered with a profound depth and a razor sharp edge .The audio was graded on my Project turntable on a high volume and the sound from this vinyl is exceptional. There is a blip on sound  and must be pointed out to you. There are 2 solitary pops during Midnight Rambler and 3 pops between tracks 1 and 2 on side 2 and apart from that, nothing else to mention.

I doubt whether one will locate a better exhibit of this monumental Stones’ classic.

A simply excellent example of this monumental Stones’ classic! Not to be missed.
