Description
Rae original mono version of the classic Stones album complete with Stones inner sleeve, unfortunately no poster though.
The vinyl matrix numbers are:
Side 1 - XARL-9363.P-1A, 1 UI mother / stamper.
Side 2 - XARL-9364.P-1A, 1 UN mother / stamper.
Both sides are etched with "JT"
Visually the vinyl grades VG, a few general light / moderate marks visible, no "feelable" marks or heavy scuffs.
The vinyl retains a decent sheen, no excessive dulling.
The labels are nice - Grade EX. Just some spindle skate visible, no grubby marks, writing etc, just clean and bright.
On play, both sides play VG, a few light clicks and pops here and there, no heavy clicks but there are a couple of instances of repeating light clicks on side 1, track 1 and side 2, track 2. There is just some general light background crackle too.
Overall, reasonableness good audio and not a bad listening experience.
The laminated front / matt rear sleeve is generally in VG condition, there are a few light laminate creases and some general light laminate wear. The rear has some light patches of staining (see pics), a small 1/4" tear on the opening edge and general ageing but overall not too bad - no seam splits, spine is excellent, edges are excellent too.
A decent sleeve.
The red Let It Bleed inner is in good condition, no seam splits, staining or writing,
Just some general creasing around the edges.
Overall, this is a reasonably decent copy of a much sought after Stones press. Good luck!
