THE ROLLING STONES - LET IT BLEED (UK DECCA, LK 5025, 1969)


When do you ever see mono pressings of this album?! Not often at all. These sold next to nothing when originally issued. What makes this pressing even more interesting is that it's the BOXED LOGO PRESSING! These would have come out roughly in 1970, and would have shifted even less copies than the unboxed logo pressings, mono was almost completely phased out by this time. Comes with the original customised inner sleeve but, alas, no poster. Still a great one for the collection though!


Vinyl is in VG condition : visually, this does look a bit tatty, there are some hairline marks on side 1 but these are very light and do not affect play. Both sides have minimal surface marks, but it plays very well with hardly any surface noise and does not jump at all. Great to hear the mono mix too, very powerful! The labels have very light spindle marks.
Laminated sleeve is in VG+ condition : some light laminate creases on the front and some sticker residue but overall looks very nice indeed, there is absolutely no ringwear on the back
Customised inner sleeve is in VG condition : would grade better but is creased (see pic)


All the albums I am listing this week have come from a friend's collection who certainly knew how to take good care of his records. You'll have trouble finding better copies than these! Be sure to check my other listings out!
