Very rare and very early matrices and stampers and almost impossible to locate in this sensational condition .
Superb unboxed red Decca labels with wide ridged, 1st issue grooves in beautiful condition. Hardly any spindle trace on side 1 and is graded near mint. The side 2 label is also in remarkable condition with the lightest of spindle trace . Infers a very carefully handled vinyl and an extremely lightly played history .
Audio
Awesome audio channels !Exceptional to locate like this as most were heavily played , used and abused ,causing massive surface damage and groove wear. Mono releases were subjected to heavy stylii which penetrated into the grooves of the vinyl and produced massive distortion. This aural delivery is second to none and is exquisite . There is NO distortion detected from these channels and tones are transmitted with a tremendous depth of sound and a razor sharp edge. Assessed as at least a strong excellent, as the delivery has an exceptional definitive edge like no other. Nothing to fault and a magnificent aural delivery from this awesome Stones’ classic release .
Vinyl
Stunning visual with just two light scuffs side 2 track 1 which disappear beneath a staggering sheen. Must have only been played about 6-7 times at the most. Only the lightest signs of play visible - a few light hairlines and one or two light surface if held under a strong halogen. Thick cut, heavy duty pressing with the wider grooves, reflecting mirror like surfaces and is a visual feast for the connoisseur. Gives a buzz when held .
Inner sleeve
Red original LIB with track listing. Excellent ++ condition with NO seam splits, rips or tears. Just a light vinyl impression only. Glue coming a little unstuck on top seams . That’s all really . Awesome condition.
Poster
Complete with THE original first printed poster in fantastic format. Near mint – condition owing to the lightest of finger impressions only. No rips or tears and never hung before so no pin holes or any other damage to report.
Sleeve
Stickered gem of an example of the first manufactured laminated sleeve with peephole on reverse. Sticker RARE and in excellent condition. Has not been attempted to be removed like many. Lamination nice and tight on front face and a pleasure to view . Excellent+ album sleeve with light scuffing to a couple of the corners and top spinal column . One light crease on front face . Ultra clean and an excellent sheen from the laminate . No rips or tears and opening edge still retains a crisp vertical edge with minimal feathering.
Stunning example of this magnificent release and impossible to locate in this remarkable condition .
