📘 Item Description

Capture the stadium-sized electricity of the Rolling Stones at the absolute peak of their 1980s powers. This rare 2-LP set documents their legendary performance at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in 1981. During this tour, the band was supporting their massive "Tattoo You" album, and this recording catches them in front of a gargantuan California crowd, delivering high-energy versions of their greatest hits and new classics.

Sourced from a specialized Japanese vinyl collection, this "Not On Label" private pressing is a highly sought-after artifact for completionists. The 1981 tour is famous for its colorful stage design and the band's rejuvenated musical chemistry, all of which is captured in this gritty, authentic live document. Finding these specific multi-LP live sets in Japan is a treat for international collectors looking for well-preserved rock history.

Their Los Angeles shows were particularly iconic, serving as a homecoming to the city that has long embraced their rock 'n' roll defiance. This album is a testament to why they are called the World's Greatest Rock 'n' Roll Band.
