Description

The Rolling Stones - No. 1

(Decca LK 4605 LP 1964)

This is an original Indian Mono LP pressing. Manufactured in Dum Dum, India. It has a glossy front sleeve with rear flipbacks. It comes with its original polythene company inner sleeve - which is in VG condition.

The record has grooved unboxed red Decca labels & -1A/ -4A matrix stampers. The labels also have the inverted matrix number above the catalogue number. These are very rare!

Sleeve: Sadly this is a tatty copy. There is a seam split along nearly all of the bottom edge. There is some tape residue along 3 sides of the sleeve, on the front & on the rear. There is one small & one mild tear on the front too. Fair+ condition.

Vinyl: There are some mild to more moderate sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. VG condition. The labels are clean but show mild to more moderate spindle wear. There is a tiny stain on one side too. Plays VG+ to VG++ overall. Just some light crackle in some quieter places.

Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
