The Rolling Stones
No.2 LP
The second LP by the Rolling Stones from January 1965
* The original first pressing of this LP.
* The rare MONO version.
* The earliest Unboxed DECCA label.
* With first issue cover with external flapbacks.
* Cover has the famous blind mans text on the rear, which was banned and replaced.

* The earliest DECCA label ie the "unboxed DECCA", soon replaced with the word DECCA inside a silver box.
* MONO ie label LK4661
* "Grooved label" on the vinyl
* Matrix numbers stamped in the vinyl XARL-6619-1A and XARL-6620-2A
* Mother/stampers are 2DIH and 1IK.
* KT tax code in the black vinyl next to the label of side 1.
* Each track listened to and graded, all the way through. Rated EX- and VG++ , detailed play notes at the bottom of the page.
Outer Sleeve
* Original First issue cover printed by James Upton.
* External flapbacks at rear of the cover (Covers released later did not have flapbacks).
* MONO on rear
* Rear cover has the famous "blind man's text" which some people found offensive, and was soon replaced
* The cover is in VG+ condition, it is fully intact with no tears, and no damage. The front of the cover has a few creases in the laminate. The rear of the cover is unlaminated and so has a few dirty marks due to old age, particularly towards the left hand opening edge. However the flapbacks are complete, fully stuck down, and the paper has no tears or other damage .
Visual and Play of the LP
Side 1 - Visually graded VG++ a few light surface scratches. Play graded EX- I listened to all of all the tracks and heard no crackles or background noises, no hops, no jumps, no ticks or other loud noises. A nice run-in, the majority of the tracks play EX+, I heard just a few odd quiet clicks at the start of track 3 and end of track 4.
Side 2 - Visually VG++ a few light surface scratches. Play graded VG++ no hops, no jumps, no loud ticks or other noises. A few odd quiet clicks, and a little background noise can be detected in the quiet gaps between tracks.
