The Rolling Stones, Not Fade Away.

1965 French pressed Decca Records large centre hole 7" EP housed in picture sleeve, 457 031.

Vinyl in generally very clean condition, especially for a French EP of such vintage. Vinyl surfaces display a fair few hairline marks and scuffs, some of which are more immediately visible. There are no really deep scratches or gouges, however, and surfaces still have a bright and undulled gloss. Light crackle is heard at the run-ins and silent bands between tracks, but the loud cut ensures that playback remains clean and bright with background noise never really being an issue. There are no instances of clicks, ticks or skips. Generally still provides an excellent listening experience.

Labels are generally clean and with a high unrubbed gloss still. Large name sticker to A side only. Possibly removable with care, but I leave this to buyer.

Sleeve in very clean condition, having been kept stored in a clear protecive sleeve. Still very bright and glossy and free of any sticker marks or inscriptions. Pictures pretty much sum condition up. Tips and extremities have also fared really well, and are without any damage. Entry side is crisp, unfeathered and without any tears. Spine in superb shape.

A Note On Grading:

Note that audio grading is subjective and based on sensitivity of equipment used for playback. In this instance playback has been tested on a vintage Technics Quartz Direct Drive SL1700 MKII turntable with Shure cartridge, Technics SU-C 03 amp and Technics SB-F2 Linear Phase speakers.

Also note that I generally do not clean vinyl unless so noted. Most vinyl will show improved playback quality with your preferred cleaning method, but I leave this to the prospective buyer, as controversy still surrounds the ideal method of cleaning vinyl. Instances of crackle near the beginning of sides can often be improved with cleaning, as these areas of the vinyl surfaces are the most prone to debris from handling.
