Description

An original 1st mono press on UK Decca. The vinyl comes housed in a genuine mono pinched spine cover printed by Robert Stace. So this is the genuine 1st cover -  not a switch. Matrix 12A/10B. This 1st press is very difficult to find in decent condition. Note the Decca deep groove on the labels. And the publishing all on the left side - an early copy. Also includes original Decca inner sleeve too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete. For those of you into trivia...note the Marvin Gaye credit for track 3. And the Nanker Phelge credit - their code name for the Stones as a collective! 
Vinyl (Ex) Lovely condition and has only seen light use - really hard to find on stones genuine '65. Under close inspection there are a couple of slight marks per side - nothing heavy or problematic at all. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Plays clean and for genuine '65 impressively so. You might detect a few brief crackles in one isolated spot across the whole LP [e.g. Good Times]. Nothing that noticeable - a perfectly good player in this track too. One isolated tick on side 2. It plays clean even into most of the quiet segments. A clean mono delivery that will better 80% of original copies. Highly recommended.
Cover (Vg+) A real pain to find in decent condition - but this example is unusually clean. The front looks great and in top condition....It has avoided the usual lamination lift issues. The rear is very tidy and has avoided the worst of the ageing process..but ageing apparent at edges. Clean looking rearvwithout much wear.. Spine is 80% intact with a couple of stress creases. The cover retains excellent rigidity. A very fine looking example.
Inner (Ex-) Lightest ageing. No split.
