The Rolling Stones
Out Of Our Heads
1/1 Mothers!
Released first in the USA on the 30th of July 1965 and then released in the UK a few months later on the 24th of September 1965, it reached number 1 in the US, but only number 2 in the UK charts.
It is a mish-mash of recordings, riding high after their 'Satisfaction' success. Unusually, the US album included the tracks 'The Last Time' and 'Satisfaction' but within the couple of months between the US release and UK release, The Stones added different exclusive songs to their UK release, dropping the two above.

A VERY EARLY PRESSING HERE!!!
Vinyl: VG. There are light needle marks to the vinyl, but it retains it's glorious sheen. Doesn't skip or jump on playback and still has all the raw power of The Stones in '65. The one downside is the slight warp in the vinyl, which doesn't affect me on my deck, but that is because I have a slightly raised inner disc. It is the ONLY reason I have listed the grading as a VG and not quite a bit higher. Don't forget this is one of the first off the press from back in the day!
Labels: VG+. Lovely deep red UNBOXED DECCA labels. Spindle marks only visible when angled towards the light and barely any hole wear. Once again, the downside is a name to the side 2 label-side 1 is very displayable! Deep and crisp and clear groove.
Sleeve: VG++. Very nice laminated cover with strong corners. The front picture does have some fading, which was usual with this cover...It makes it look much more antiquated. Only a small amount of small spidering areas, with a slight bend to the bottom right corner. Nice clear back card, but does have a name to the bottom left corner. Good strong spine.
Inner: VG++. Plastic lined inner "Made In England" without rips or tears.
