This exceptional sounding UK 1st pressing dates from initial September 1965 release on the deep-grooved Decca label: LK.4733
The 'KT' purchase tax code is present on the label and in both run-outs.

Stamper codes: 1/CU & 1/KI

Vinyl weight: 146g


Housed in the rarer front laminated, bi-flipback mono cover printed by 'Clout & Baker Ltd.'.

Complete with original poly-lined inner-sleeve.

An immaculate set showing just a single faint spindle mark around each unworn centre hole. 

Disc

Visual: EXCELLENT +

Beautifully clean, deep-gloss playing surfaces which, aside from two non-audible 1cm marks on side 2, are 'as new' - even directly beneath halogen light.

Audio: MINT

Played just once or twice only on quality equipment, the sound quality throughout this amazing sounding disc is flawless throughout.

Cover: EXCELLENT

This earliest mono cover is clean & fully intact. The pale green front panel is glossy and unworn with no 'thumbnails' and just a small 4cm wrinkle towards the upper left corner. There is a small bruise to the lower left corner but all others and both opening edges are sharp and unworn. The rear panel has a couple of age marks on the upper white border but is otherwise clean & without any writing or missing paper. Both seams are smooth & unstressed and the spine undamaged.
