A chance to buy a very rare 1965 original first issue Dutch Blue label Decca Mono lp edition of the Stones classic Out Of Our Heads.This edition features the original USA Tracklisting..ie it includes the Hit singles I can't get no satisfaction and the Last Time along with some fantastic B-sides,Under Assistant West Coast Promo man,the majestic Play With Fire,and one of my own personal faves The Spider and the Fly (a 'lost' gem in my opinion about loneliness on the road and temptation).This edition also has a sleeve variation from other Dutch issues as it has no white border,is made with unlaminated thick card,and it only mentions the format (Mono) and the cat no-LK 4725 in small script on the top rear.The thick heavy vinyl has surface scuffing and some marks,but it plays fantastically well with a deep rich punchy mono sound,which makes these lp's very much sought after.There is little to no sustained crackling as such throughout playback.I play test all my lp's i put up for auction on Ebay on my classic Acoustic Research turntable which always highlights any problems with the vinyl during playback.There was some soft ticking during the intro to couple of tracks and between tracks but nothing to spoil the listeners enjoyment whatsoever i'm glad to say.The thick sleeve has edge,faint ringwear,corner and spinewear and some cracking on the front as seen in the pictures,but is still very much intact and is a decent enough example in my opinion.Indeed for a 50 yes 50 year old lp that's 'lived a little' it's a very nice playing example indeed and it remains in my humble opinion the best version of this killer Stones lp..as always any questions are welcome.I will post most anywhere with the cost being roughly £8.00 usually.So in summary, grab yourself a nice bargain,which although not being in pristine condition still sounds fantastic.Thanks for looking in :)
