Rolling Stones Some Girls First US Press Uncensored Jacket Excellent - LP VG Uncensored jacket in excellent condition. Inner sleeve with photos has a tear/bend which I've highlighted with a photo - it's not visible when the vinyl is in the jacket. The record itself was not treated as well, looks like something they used to sort weed seeds. While it does play through, I'm not selling this as a playable copy - too much surface noise to be enjoyable. I have included below all the information to document that this is a US first press from the Presswell plant, closeup photo included of the PR code on the label. If you look at the list below, this is a number 5 color variation, meaning, Yellowish-Bluish-Reddish-Greenish (pale colours) ('Some Girls' title typed in red) All in all, this is a very nice copy for framing, or just as a collectible.
Documentary info from Discogs:
The cover of the original album was a die cut with peep-holes so you could see the faces of members of Rolling Stones and female celebrities pictured on the innersleeve. Shortly after release the cover was withdrawn due to legal issues and a new designed innersleeve without the celebrity faces was launched. Even later releases were made without peep-holes and with hand-drawn sketches on the cover.
At least there are 15 known variations of cover/innersleeve so beware to list your LP correctly.

Even if catalogue # and country match your album there are other parameters to consider:
c) Is your innersleeve uncensored? (with celebrity faces)
d) Or is the innersleeve censored? ('Pardon our appearance.... under construction')
e) Or is the LP without peep-holes?
The uncensored and censored versions were released with different variations of the colour-band on the cover.

4) Red- Green-Yellow-Blue (bright colours)

Some later releases were made without peep-holes.

Presswell pressing denoted by "PR" on label matrix (suffix)Tim Hinkley was flown into Paris, in the midst of an Elkie Brooke tour, to record on this album. Yes, they charge me for their right to collect your State sale tax. Windup is the minimum cost for me to put an album out the door is $6. I have a ton of records I could sell for under $10, it's just not worth the time & effort.
