Description
The Rolling Stones 'Some Girls' UK 1st LP on Rolling Stones Records, 1978 (CUN 39108).
Condition: EX/NM.
Original 1st pressing promo LP released in 1978. The sleeve was quickly deleted owing to legal issues arising from complaints by some of the “girls” who were originally featured on the die-cut sleeve - the sleeve featuring pictures of Raquel Welch, Lucille Ball, Brigitte Bardot, Farrah Fawcett Majors, Marilyn Monroe and the Stones themselves. The album itself is one of their greatest and features Miss You, Beast Of Burden, Far Away Eyes and more.
The rear of the die-cut outer sleeve is gold stamped 'Property Of EMI R - Demonstration Only - Not For Sale' in the bottom left corner.
VINYL
The record is in NM condition. Stunning full gloss vinyl, with a couple of feint hairline scuffs on either side which do not affect play. Superb!
COVER
The cover is in EX condition - the die cut sections are perfect, so pristine it looks like it was printed yesterday! The top right corner has some light creases and the very edges of the corners are slightly dinged. The edges and spine are all superb, no wear at all.
INNER SLEEVE
The inner sleeve is in EX condition - light creases, very light ring wear.
