Description
The Rolling Stones---"Some Girls"---UK Pressed Stereo Album In MINT Condition On The Rolling Stones Label---A-3U and B-3U From 1978---With Uncensored Sleeve Inner
Housed in the original die-cut design by Peter Corriston featuring The Rolling Stones in garish drag alongside select female celebrities and lingerie ads. The cover immediately ran into trouble when Lucille Ball, Farrah Fawcett, Liza Minnelli (representing her mother Judy Garland), Raquel Welch, and the estate of Marilyn Monroe threatened legal action. It was withdrawn and the women's likenesses removed on later pressings. Complete with its original 'withdrawn' inner-sleeve featuring many of the above mentioned famous faces.
This is a UK copy from 1978 in stereo on the Rolling Stones label, cat. no. CUN 39108 with matrix A-3U and B-3U.
Vinyl: MINT. The vinyl is in lovely condition with a great shine and no marks. It plays with superb audio.
Labels: N.MINT. Labels are in great condition with no markings. There are some light spindle lines.
Sleeve: MINT. Gimmix sleeve is in very solid condition with no wear to die cut sleeve or inner,
