Description

An original 1st issue of SFINGERS on UK Rolling Stone label whilst charting. Matrix A4/B4. Note the labels mention 'recording 1st pub'. The vinyl comes housed in an original 1st issue ZIP cover with pinched spine. ZIP full working order. We also have an original blue text inner the original credit sheet. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete. We will ship in an anti-static inner for maximum protection.
Vinyl (Ex/Vg+) In excellent order having only seen relatively light use. I'm picking out a couple of light marks per side - one early on S1 does just sound [see detail]. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of deviations per side. Intros and inbetweens are lovey and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. A super player and these 1st issues are renowned for audio quality - this example is no slouch. A clean player by and large. I did detect a few minor crackles in the opening section of IGTBs. Nothing untoward [ low in the mix]. This track is particularly fussy and just won't play quite as clean as in other sectors. I did detect a couple of minor isolated ticks in [SWAY & SM]. The only thing I could come up with which was vaguely an issue was the opening chords of BSUGAR. I got a couple of pulses of distortion and a couple of clicks - literally right at the start. Over before the song starts fully - and fully tested [over in a flash]. That's really the only thing I can hold against it. SM plays absolute superb. WH plays clean - much better than you typically find. Flowers...is like...OMG. The sheer weight of audio quality is absorbing and you will barely notice any of the minor issues. Plays clean into the fussy tracks on S2 like SM. The Stones were at the top of their game from '68 through to '72. This title needs to be in everybody's collection - period. Highly recommended. Please note one label has been initialled.
Cover (Ex-) In really nice condition and has avoided much of the usual ageing process you tend to find. The zip mechanism looks fine and all attached well without tarnishing. Overall a really nice example and better than most copies that surface. A little bit of zip scuffing on the rear [pretty typical as was de rigueur!]. The small flap is above the belt flap is still present but a little worn [it usually tears off!]. Some light edge wear in the odd spot - but overall very tidy. A bit of wear on the spine 'Sticky' has been mostly worn off. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. 
Inner (Vg+) Aged a little. NO splits.
Insert (Vg-) A lot of foxing is apparent on the credit side. Image side - not bad at all.
