The Rolling Stones - The Great Years
(Readers Digest/ Decca GROL-A-119 UK 4 LP Box Set 1982)
This is a UK original 4 LP Box Set pressing. Released as a tie-in with the "Readers Digest" magazine. These are quite rare.
It has a two part outer box which is printed on heavy duty card. Each LP has a unique matt sleeve. They come with their original polythene lined company inner sleeves. These are in Near EX to EX condition.
The records have 1st press matrix stampers. It also includes its original "Quality Guarantee" insert.
Box: There is a small 1 cm seam split at the bottom right corner. There is some light to mild rubbing wear at a couple of other corners. Otherwise very nice. VG+ condition
Record 1:
Sleeve: There is some mild ringwear on the rear. Otherwise minimal wear only. EX condition.
Vinyl: Light to very mild sleeve rubs can be viewed under a strong light. NEAR EX condition. The labels are very clean & show mild spindle wear. Plays Excellent to Excellent+ overall.
Record 2:
Sleeve: There is some mild ringwear on the front. Otherwise minimal wear only. EX condition.
Vinyl: Light to very mild sleeve rubs can be viewed under a strong light. NEAR EX condition. The labels are very clean & show mild spindle wear. Plays Excellent to Excellent+ overall.
Record 3:
Sleeve: There is some very light ringwear on the rear. Otherwise next to no wear. EX+ condition.
Vinyl: Looks unplayed! Next to no sleeve rubs can be viewed under a strong light. Very NEAR MINT condition. The labels are very clean & show no spindle wear. Play is very Near Perfect!
Record 4:
Sleeve: There is some very light ringwear on the front. Otherwise next to no wear. EX+ condition.
Vinyl: Near unplayed! Very light sleeve rubs can be viewed under a strong light. EX+ condition. The labels are very clean & show minimal spindle wear. Plays Excellent+ to Near Perfect overall.
The guarantee insert is unused & in Very Near Mint condition.
Traceable insurance is already included in the stated P&P price for this item.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £20. Overseas buyers will add £5.50 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
