Description
Rare original Rolling Stones "The Last Time / Play with Fire" Picture Sleeve Cover & 45 rpm record. Issued in the USA in 1965 on the London label (45-9741).
Rare Picture Cover Sleeve is conservatively graded as a strong EX condition (see grading below). There is no writing, no stains, no stickers, no tears or rips, no seam splits, no tape, etc. Very light edge wear. Been stored with the record removed from the Sleeve. Some slight evidence of a record ever being inside (see pic).
I am also including the 45 rpm record with the Picture Cover Sleeve to complete it, but the Sleeve is the real gem and what you're bidding on in this auction. The 45 has the blue swirl USA London label and several scuff marks. I would visually grade the record as G+ - VG-.
Photos shown are scans of the actual sleeve being auctioned. Don't hesitate to e-mail me with any questions about the item. I may be able to e-mail the actual larger scans to bidders - ask.
I believe that this Sleeve appears nicer than the one that just sold for $41.00 (and you get the record, too). Don't miss out on it.
Overseas/international bidders MUST e-mail me for shipping costs BEFORE bidding, or I will remove the bid.
SS = brand new, sealed
M- = record in unplayed condition. Cover close to perfect with only very minor signs of wear or age.
EX = record has slightly visible minor scuffs. There may be more than a few scuffs, but NO Scratches. Will not distract significantly from the sound. Cover may have slight wear, or wear at corners or edges, but nothing that detracts from the artwork. Nice collectible condition.
VG+ = vinyl still has great luster; record shows wear and surface scuffs. Flaws will be noticeable to the naked eye. There may be a few ticks or pops, but nothing major. A virtually clean cover, but may have Very small writing, staple holes or price sticker or residue on it, but NOT in artwork. Artwork is clean, but with slightly more aging. No stains or water damage.
VG = overall record wear, but no skips or serious defects; more noisy sound during quiet passages. Cover may have tears or seam splits or moderate ring wear or writing.
G = various snaps, crackles and pops on record, but No skips. Heavy ring wear on cover. May have taped seams, moderate to heavy writing on cover or label. Artwork has writing or sticker, etc.
P = Poor condition. Heavy wear, skips on record. Cover with heavy ring wear, tears, etc. Will fill collection until something better comes along. Record can still be used for display purposes.
