YOUR SATISFACTION IS OUR FIRST PRIORITY!This is THEIR SATANIC MAJESTIES REQUEST by The ROLLING STONES, London Records (NPS-2), an original stereo pressing (USA) from December 8, 1967, with 3-D cover in which pictures of John, Paul, George and Ringo are hidden.
The gatefold shows minor wear at two corners, otherwise about EX+ or NEAR MINT MINUS (see photos). The lenticular image is nice and the sturdy jacket demonstrates bright and vibrant colours with no ring wear, no signs of excessive aging and certainly no signs of abuse. Quite lovely cover!
Labels show light spindle marks but glossy playing surfaces appear solid MINT showing not one scratch, scuff, buff or mark of any kind. The LP play-grades strong NEAR MINT. Solid. Dynamic.
Brian Jones said of this album: It's really like a sort of got-together chaos. Because we all panicked a little, even as soon as a month before the release date we had planned, we really hadn't got anything put together. We had all these great things we'd done, but we couldn't possibly put it out as an album. And so we just got them together, and did a little bit of editing here and there.
John Lennon and Paul McCartney helped with vocals.
