Sought-after unboxed Decca mono version of the 1967 album, not least because of the uncorrected 1P/P1 matrices and the hologram on the cover.

Outer sleeve is generally very good condition for the age of the album, although there is some natural wear to corners and spine has flattened somewhat. Rear of sleeve has retained its colour and sheen beautifully (as has front). Inner of gatefold is in superb condition. Hologram in excellent condition.

Smoke inner is in pristine condition.

Vinyl itself is in excellent playing condition with a couple of minor scratches/scuffs on side one. No major spindle marks.

Background: This is the earliest and rarest 1st MONO pressing with the 'uncorrected' 1st pressing matrix endings (when this LP was initially pressed, the matrix endings mistakenly ended in 1P/P1 - they should, of course, have been P1/P1 - short for Pressing 1).   
 
Almost immediately after pressing began, an additional '1' was added after the '1P' matrix on Side 1. Most 1P/P1 1st pressings therefore have this '1' 'correction' to the Side 1 matrix and it is now ultra rare to find this uncorrected 1st pressing, as only a very few were made.
 
It is hard enough to find a genuine 1st pressing - even with the corrected P1/P1 matrices - most 1st pressings being sold on ebay and elsewhere are (later) 1st pressings with T2-1K, T2-2K, T2-3K or even T2-4K matrix numbers.
 
The cover is also the 'earliest possible' 1st press cover - with the deeper blue colour and thicker lamination than later pressings; comes with the original 1st press red 'smoke' inner sleeve. Original Robert Stace 1st pressing 3D (hologram) Mono TXL 103 cover with the laminated outer gatefold and unlaminated inside
