Description

 An original 1st mono press on UK Decca. Matrix 1/3 - 1st cut. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in a genuine hexagonal cover with the exposed flips on the interior [correct for 1st issue]. So, this is the genuine 1st cover not a switch. This 1st press is difficult to find in decent condition. The hexagonal Decca inner is present too - and Red for Mono. So, we're 100% genuine and 100% complete. 
Vinyl (Ex/vg+) Lovely condition and has only seen light use. Given most Stones hits Lps will have been played to death - this one is looking pretty dapper. Take a close look at those spindle holes. Under close inspection I can only make out a few slight markings per side - nothing heavy or problematic. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of minor deviations per side. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Plays clean and impressively so. You might detect a few brief crackles in a couple of isolated spots per side. A couple of ticks during 'You Love us' - that was about it really. But overall clean mono feed. And let me assure you this MONO hits is EASILY the best way to take in these classic Stones hits. Highly recommended.
Cover (Vg+) A real pain to find in decent condition - but this example is looking dapper. The front is tidy wit just a couple of slightest creases and has avoided most of the dreaded laminate lift. The rear is very tidy - but does exhibit some light laminate lift on the left side. Given the image is of the Stones behind broken glass - not really much of an issue! Minor edge wear for this title. Most of the time the edges get battered on this release. The interior looks superb. The internal spine is actually in very fine form - most examples do not look like that. The Spine is 90%+ intact - which is actually a difficult find as most are half hanging off by this point in time. The cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg/Vg+) Some light ageing. One minor split repaired.
